Type: Laurentian. Printed and bound by Neografia in full printed and blocked cloth with a design by Kai and Sunny (who also designed the title); pale brown endleaves printed with maps in brown. Blue-green slip case. Schaller was the field biologist who invited Matthiessen to join him on the 1973 expedition to the Dolpo region of the Himalayas.
