Bernard Cornwell, Sharpe’s tiger, Richard Sharpe and the siege of Seringapatam, 1799, in which Richard Sharpe avoids Sergeant Obadiah Hakeswill and endeavours to rescue a British officer from under the nose of the Tippoo of Mysore, introduced by the author, illustrated by Douglas Smith. 229 × 152 × 32 mm. Pp. [i–iv] v–x [xi–xviii], [1–2] 3–363 [364–368]: [4] leaves of plates (facing pp. [iii], 96, 260 and 307). Type: Janson with Gainsborough Serif for display. Printed and bound by C & C Offset in full red cloth blocked in gold and black with design by Smith; dark grey endleaves. Dark grey slip case blocked in gold with buglehorn and crown emblem. Two maps are on pages [xiv–xv] and [xvi–xvii]. The illustrations are in scratchboard, with colour for the frontispiece.  The first of Folio’s Sharpe series, to be released in chronological order of the hero’s career.
