[1–2], [i–iv] v–xix [xx], [1–2], 3–334 [335–340]: [16] leaves of plates. Type: Caslon with hand-drawn lettering for the title. Printed (the title-page in pink and black) by Memminger MedienCentrum. Bound by Real Lachenmaier in series binding (see item 1124). Pink cloth with a design by McFarlane in purple, white, black and silver; pink endleaves with a design in silver. Pink slip case. First published in 1897. The 41 stories are punctuated by additional pen-and-ink drawings by McFarlane.
