[i–iv] v–xv [xvi–xviii], [1–2] 3–221 [222]: [7] leaves of colour plates (facing pp. 15, 46, 78, 95, 111, 142 and 198). Type: Caslon. Printed by Memminger MedienCentrum. Bound by Real Lachenmaier in full black ‘velveteen’ cloth with printed paper label; black endleaves with a design in silver. Black slip case printed with design in silver on one side. As well as the seven colour illustrations, Rayyan contributed a title-spread, endleaves decoration plus images for the paper label image and slip case. The protagonist’s name is hand-drawn on the title-page, with the ‘o’ replaced by a skull.
