Printed and bound by Gomer Press in full orange cloth printed in black and blocked in silver and metallic green with a design based on first U.S. book edition; dark silver endleaves. Printed slip case with title design. Adopting the pseudonym Raoul Duke, Thompson’s story (and Steadman’s illustrations) was originally published in two parts by Rolling stone magazine in 1971. Neil Gower coloured the illustrations for this edition.
