Type: Caslon. Printed by Memminger MedienCentrum. Bound by Real Lachenmaier in quarter grey leather with dark cream artificial silk boards; pale grey endleaves printed with a map compiled by Gleason. Grey slip case with photographic image pasted round sides. In 1899 Gleason started to retrace and photograph Thoreau’s footsteps.  Two of the plates are double-page spreads.
