Printed and bound by Firmengruppe APPL in three-quarter dark blue buckram with a paper front board printed with a design by Baker-Smith; wood-effect endleaves. Slip case papered with illustration of Pinocchio’s face in close-up. Baker-Smith’s striking, and occasionally discomforting, illustrations are found throughout.
