Plantagenet Palliser, now Duke of Omnium, must manage three grown children whose choices offend his sense of rank and duty. Lord Silverbridge sits in the Commons, runs into debt, and courts an American guest; Gerald is sent down from university; Lady Mary loves a commoner the Duke will not accept. Parliamentary life, the hunting field, and London society form the backdrop as the widower learns how little command he has over love and money. The book is a domestic political novel.

Edition details

Publisher: Folio Society

Edition year: 2015

Volumes: 2

Edition: Limited edition (Goatskin Leather + Solander Box)

Condition

Like New

Very minor bump to corner of solander box

Edition Details

Anthony Trollope, the Duke’s children.
