Printed (the title-page\u003cbr\u003ein pink and black) and bound by Cambridge University Press. Full dark blue buckram with a design by van Sandwyk in red, cream and gold; dark blue endleaves with a design in gold by van Sandwyk. Dark blue slip case. This gives the appearance of being another in Folio’s series of facsimile children’s books. However, this volume is different, since the text was originally published (in 1889) in a smaller format with different illustrations, and the present volume has been typeset and illustrated by a contemporary artist in the style of the early twentieth century.
